Hi,

I have an existing web app (orderQ) that allows guests in restaurants/bars to order from their table by scanning a QR code. The orders are currently displayed digitally on a device (tablet, phone, laptop).



I want to add the following feature:


1. Automatic Receipt Printing
• Each order should automatically be printed via a connected receipt/kitchen printer.
• The printer should be selectable and connectable directly from the web app (e.g., via printer API, network printer, or cloud print).


2. Printing Rules by Tag
• In the web app, we have “tags” (e.g., kitchen, bar, shisha).
• It should be possible to set whether all orders are printed or only orders with specific tags.


3. Technical Notes
• The solution should be browser-based and integrate with the existing web app.
• Please briefly explain which technologies/approach you would use for printer integration
