Application Engineer / Technician for Technical Customer Support (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Technical point of contact for key customers in the field of CODESYS products and PLC applications
• Support during the commissioning of CODESYS-based solutions and the implementation of individual customer requirements
• Independent processing and coordination of support requests via our helpdesk system
• Analysis of complex issues and provision of efficient, customized solutions
• Configuration of test systems and applications for error analysis and system optimization
• Close collaboration with our software development and quality management teams to ensure optimal solutions for our key customers
• Consulting and support for our key customers on all questions regarding our software products

We are looking for a dedicated professional with solid experience in IEC 61131-3 applications to serve as the point of contact for our key customers. In this role, you will play a key part—supporting the use of our CODESYS products to solve complex use cases. We offer exciting opportunities in an international environment. Your responsibilities go beyond pure support—you will work closely with key customers, develop individual solutions and make a significant contribution to their successful implementation. This includes written communication via e-mail, virtual meetings (MS Teams, TeamViewer) and on-site customer visits to discuss and implement complex requirements effectively. Your profile:

• Degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable training with a technical background
• Experience in automation and drive technology as well as PLC programming (IEC 61131-3)
• Knowledge of network topologies, fieldbus systems, and PC technology
• Customer and service-oriented mindset and working style
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems is an advantage
