Apprenticeship Technical Product Designer (m/f/d) 2025

As a subsidiary of VELA Group SE, VELA Performance GmbH develops innovative solutions in the automotive and non-automotive sectors.
Our team of lightweight construction specialists develops high-performance components and systems for automobiles, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, aviation and medical technology.
We cover the entire process: from initial product sketches to functional prototypes that are assembled in our in-house workshop.

You gain experience in the development of various vehicle components

You will carry out concept analyses

You will learn to develop innovative solutions taking into account the specifications

You will take on detailed responsibility for component design with CATIA V5

You will create technical calculations and documentation

You learn about various manufacturing processes and assist in tool design.

Your abilities:

Secondary school leaving certificate or higher

Mathematical and technical understanding

Three-dimensional imagination

Structured and goal-orientated way of working

Willingness to learn and initiative

Enthusiasm for working on a PC

Good knowledge of German & English
