Assistant Storemanager Cheese & More by Henri Willig Heidelberg role at Henri Willig Groep

Location: Heidelberg. Employment type: Full-time. Weekend availability required (4 or 5 days per week; minimum 2 Saturdays in a 4-week cycle).

What you will do

Together with your team, provide guests with a great in-store experience and foster a sense of community in the store.
Coach, moderate and inspire team members to develop within the team and the company.
Encourage team members to take on tasks and responsibilities so the store runs smoothly in your absence.
Ensure the store and the company concept Cheese & More by Henri Willig is represented and lived.
Serve as the point of contact for colleagues and external parties in the absence of the store manager; contribute to local entrepreneurship and ensure smooth (administrative) purchasing processes.

You are co-responsible for store results and are the point of contact for the store manager and colleagues from other departments.

Furthermore, you will:

Have preferred experience in a similar leadership role in a hospitality-focused environment.
Have excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, high sense of responsibility and a positive critical mindset.
Be able to coach, develop, inspire and delegate, and create a positive, energetic environment where all team members go the extra mile for each other.
Have a passion for retail, tourism and delicatessen products.
Have an eye for retail, be creative and able to make decisions and improvements with an analytical approach.
Speak excellent German and English.
Be flexible. Work four or five days per week, with at least 2 Saturdays in the 4-week cycle.
