BioNTech SE seeks an Associate Director to lead biomarker testing strategy across multiple clinical‑trial projects, focusing on bioligicals and antibody‑drug conjugates (ADCs). The role involves selecting analytical technologies, managing contractors, and overseeing method development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Implement biomarker testing strategy for multiple clinical‑trial projects, focusing on bioligicals and ADCs.
• Select appropriate analytical technologies (LC‑MS, LBA, CBA, flow cytometry) in collaboration with R&D teams and Translational Sciences and Clinical Pharmacology departments.

Qualifications

• Degree (PhD preferred) in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Solid experience in assay development and analytical validation of methods for PK, ADA, and biomarker testing.
• In‑depth knowledge of GCP/GLP, FDA and EMA regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German desired.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
