Team Overview

The Performance Marketing Team is a world‑leading, data‑driven department that develops high‑scale marketing programs to improve Agoda’s customer lifetime value. It blends analysts, strategists, and data scientists and is led by experienced professionals in data science, product, strategy and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization of growing Agoda’s new and emerging marketing channels.
  • Conduct end‑to‑end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights.
  • Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests) and build structured analyses to evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data‑driven decisions for channel growth.
  • Partner closely with various business functions to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using SQL, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to key stakeholders, including senior management.

Qualifications

  • 4‑6 years of experience as a Data Analyst in tech, consulting, e‑commerce or digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data warehouses (SQL, Tableau, MS Excel).
  • Innovative problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Stakeholder management and communication: ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
