Audit Consultant

We’re Hiring: Audit Consultant – Munich (Hybrid) Advanced/Fluent German required

Join a market-leading firm in Munich as an Audit Consultant and take your career to the next level. You’ll play a key role in conducting audit engagements, ensuring effective internal controls, and delivering high-quality financial analysis in line with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB) standards. While the role is based in Munich, we offer flexibility for some work-from-home days.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
• Assess and strengthen internal control systems
• Analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS and learn German GAAP (HGB) on the jonb
• Collaborate with teams to maintain high-quality audit practices

What you bring:

• Strong analytical skills and solid finance knowledge
• At least 2-3 years of External Audit experience from a market leading Big4 firm
• Proven knowledge of IFRS and some theoretical knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) would be an asset
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial statements
• Advanced/Fluent German language skills (written & spoken)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent a plus)
• Previous audit or consultancy experience is an advantage
