Overview

Auszubildenden zum Süßwarentechnologen (m/w/d) – start: . The three-year apprenticeship covers the machine-based production of confectionery and the associated processes, including raw materials knowledge, processing, dough and mass production, and production plant guidance. The school portion takes place at ZDS – Zentralfachschule der Deutschen Süßwarenwirtschaft – in Solingen, with 12 weeks of block instruction per year (divided into three training blocks). You will also learn about the manufacture of candies, chocolate goods, and confections, as well as proper packaging and quality assurance.

• Learn processes of machine-based production of fine baked goods
• Work with raw materials, doughs, and masses; assist in operating production equipment
• Participate in development of new products and quality assurance
• Support packaging and the handling of quality control documentation
