Regardless of your background, we prepare you for vocational training. With "Chance plus," you have excellent prospects for an apprenticeship or direct entry.

If you are close to finishing school and motivated but haven't secured an apprenticeship this year, prepare with us for your future career. Starting from 01.11.2025, we are looking for you to join the Ausbildungsvorbereitung Chance plus Industriemechanik 2025 (w/m/d) at DB Cargo AG in Seddin. Similar to an apprenticeship, you will alternate between practical work on-site and theoretical instruction.

What you can expect:

• Your work will include assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of railway technology.
• You will learn metalworking with tools and machines, including turning, welding, drilling, and milling.
• Focus on skilled maintenance and repair of our equipment and rail vehicles.

DB is large and versatile in industrial mechanics, offering entry qualification in various fields.

Entry qualification in the workshop area:

• You will support ensuring our trains are always ready for service.
• Assist in maintenance and repair tasks, such as replacing brake blocks or repairing door damages.

Your profile:

• You are about to finish school but haven't found an apprenticeship yet.
• You haven't completed any vocational training and are registered as "seeking apprenticeship" with the Employment Agency.
• You are flexible with changing working hours.
• You enjoy working in a team and handling different tasks.
• Your German language skills are at least level B1.
