We are seeking an experienced TIA Portal Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising Siemens automation systems, with a focus on GMP-compliant production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and program Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems using TIA Portal.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation of automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimise control logic, batch sequences, and equipment automation.
• Collaborate with process, validation, and quality teams to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation in line with GMP and regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11, GAMP5).

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Siemens TIA Portal in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, automation integration, and process control.
• Hands-on experience with GMP, IQ/OQ/PQ, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional project teams.
• Degree in Automation, Electrical/Control Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
