Your profile as an automation engineer / automation technician
in mechanical engineering

• Completed university degree or further training as a technician in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics or robotics
• Several years of programming experience in the areas of motion control and PLC (preferably Beckhoff)
• Cross-departmental interdisciplinary mindset
• High degree of initiative, goal orientation and independent working style
• Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills
• Team player and open to new ideas
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Occasional willingness to travel

Your position as an automation engineer / automation technician
at Printum

• Programming and commissioning (mechanical and electrical) of special rotary machines equipped with Beckhoff control components
• Collaboration in the further development of our cross-platform software standard and integration of the development results into our special systems
• Direct cooperation with the development departments Software Design and Mechanical Design and Sales for project planning tasks
• Development of software modules for rotary web-processing production machines (roll-to-roll and roll-to-piece)
• Technical clarification with customers
• Implementation of customer and process specifications
• Machine support from installation and commissioning through to acceptance and training at the customer’s premises
