We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy or in Germany.

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will provide second level support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms . You will drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction, retention rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining Automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
• Operate independently in Italian/German territory and in Europe when needed to provide technical support.
• Apply critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation, train our customers and our Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with Diagnostics market.
• Early careers are welcome but with troubleshooting experience, gained during Thesis or Internships.
• Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Ability to travel and provide service in whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel. A current valid driver’s license is required.

• Willing to work different shifts/flexible hours as business needs.
• Analytical mindset, able to analyze data, identify problem and find effective solutions.
