Automation Technician as PLC Programmer – Robotics

• You independently create software for Siemens TIA controllers and also handle the visualization of automation platforms.
• Subsequently, you commission the system independently – primarily in-house – and create the corresponding documentation.
• You implement new functions into existing software and independently conduct system and integration tests.
• With your help and creativity, we continuously advance the development of our modular robot platform.
• You share your know‑how with less experienced colleagues and serve as their mentor when they have questions.
• As an integral part of our software development team, you work closely with various internal departments to achieve shared project success.

Your Profile

• You have several years of professional experience as an electrical, mechatronics or automation technician, and recognise that the future of production lies in automation.
• You are passionate about current robotics and vision technologies and want to actively support the transformation to Industry 4.0.
• You are proficient in Siemens Simatic TIA controllers, have fundamentals in electrical engineering, and are fluent in German and English.
• You enjoy both desk‑based and hands‑on work – programming offline and online.
• Your colleagues value you as a problem‑solver, team player, open and communicative, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.
