Tasks
• Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Build new features and endpoints in close collaboration with our product and design teams
• Help scale our backend services and infrastructure, including managing tasks and jobs
• Work closely with our AI/ML engineer to integrate ML models and our LLM pipeline into production
• Design and implement robust data models in our Postgres database
• Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline for automated testing and deployment
• Implement monitoring and observability systems to keep an eye on the performance and accuracy of our backend and AI components


Requirements
• Solid professional experience in backend development with Python, ideally using FastAPI
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including data modeling and performance optimization
• Experience integrating ML models or LLM-based applications into production environments
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining testing suites
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (like AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD principles
• A collaborative mindset, initiative, and motivation to work in a dynamic startup environment


Bonus Points
• Experience with Supabase
• Experience creating services for mobile front-end frameworks such as Flutter
• Knowledge of MLOps principles and tools
