(Backend) Software Developer (all genders) - GPORTAL (Ociris GmbH)

At GPORTAL , we provide online gaming experiences to the world. We are looking for a full‑time permanent Backend Software Developer to start on . Remote‑first, with the freedom to work hybrid or on‑site near one of our locations.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing backend services and develop new features tailored to evolving needs.
• Design and implement internal and third‑party APIs, and integrate new games into our portfolio.
• Write clean, reliable tests and participate in long‑term migrations from legacy projects.
• Collaborate with a tech‑driven team, focusing on code quality and thoughtful solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Go, or PHP stack; familiarity with gRPC, GraphQL, REST.
• Solid backend development experience with complex software systems.
• Interest in gaming and a background or passion for multiplayer games.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Experience writing clean tests and maintaining backend services.
