Overview

BI Consultant (F/M/X) at Ascent – Munich, Germany. This position is available for residents in Germany. Engagement: Full Time | Part Time. Work preference: Hybrid or Work from Office.

Your Responsibilities

Work closely with business departments of our customers in workshops, whiteboarding sessions etc. to understand their business processes and describe their needs and requirements
Specify KPIs, workflows, and reports
Define semantic models including complex analytical measures and hierarchies
Design user-friendly dashboards and reports for intuitive analytics for big data workloads
Implement analytical solutions based on Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
Knowledge transfer with Business users and BI professionals
Collaborate with IT architects and product owners

Skills And Experience

1-5 years of demonstrated ability in a BI Developer, Data Engineer or similar role with business sense and a focus on analytics requirements.
Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar
Experience working in a cloud environment (Azure)
Experience with DAX, SQL, plus ideally Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Very good German and English language skills
