Job Description
Dear cover artist,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Matthias, and I am currently working on publishing my manuscript titled Earthpeace. The book is a visionary novel and spiritual handbook—part allegory, part roadmap for global transformation. At its heart, it is intended as a practical blueprint for a better future, written in a way that speaks to children, adults, seekers, and scholars alike.
The central theme of the book is humanity’s journey into a new era of unity, peace, and awakened potential. It alternates between “waking” and “dreaming” states—grounded in our present challenges while also visionary and symbolic, inviting the reader to step into a new possibility for our world.
I would now like to bring the visual identity of the book to life, and I believe both the cover and the interior design will play an essential role in communicating its message.
For the cover design, I’m looking for something that feels:
- Universal – able to resonate across cultures, ages, and languages.
- Hopeful and uplifting – inspiring a sense of possibility and transformation.
- Spiritual yet accessible – mystical in depth, but simple and clear enough to invite every reader in.
For the interior design, I would love a clean and professional layout that feels inviting to read, while also leaving space for the spiritual and reflective nature of the text to breathe. The formatting should work for both:
- Digital (eBook) editions.
- Print-on-demand hard copies (softcover and/or hardcover) via Amazon KDP or IngramSpark.
Could you please let me know:
- Your availability for a project like this.
- An overview of your pricing structure (for both cover and interior design).
- Any information or materials you would need from me to get started.
I know that my project is ambitious—perhaps even a little idealistic—but I want to give it the very best try. A thoughtful and inspiring design, inside and out, will be a vital step on that journey.
Thank you for considering working with me. I would be delighted to hear your thoughts and to explore whether this project resonates with you.
With gratitude and anticipation,
Matthias
