RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports and entertainment sectors. Our Product Division develops, produces and distributes audio, video, IT and communication solutions for live production in media, sports, entertainment and corporate industries.

Responsibilities

• You develop and execute tests for audio, intercom and video products, ensuring product reliability and performance.
• You integrate, maintain and enhance test environments, including infrastructure and equipment, to support ongoing product development.
• You collaborate with internal and external R&D teams for error analysis and actively contribute to product development.
• You represent the system test team during the introduction of new products and participate in regular product development meetings.

That’s you

• Several years of practical experience in broadcast technology, ideally training as a media, audio or video engineer (m/f/d).
• Sound knowledge of Media-over-IP technologies (e.g. SMPTE2110, AES67, NMOS, PTP) and baseband media technologies (e.g. SDI, MADI, AES3).
• Very good knowledge of IP network technology (TCP/UDP/IP) and basic knowledge of Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and Debian.
• Understanding of test methods and experience carrying out various tests such as performance, usability, interoperability and regression.
• Strong communication skills in German and English to communicate effectively in multinational teams.
