Business Analyst Finance and Insurance

Your tasks:

• Business Analysis: Analyze and document business requirements and processes in the area of accounting
• Solution Design: Contribute to a multi-GAAP subledger solution with the aim to provide standardized finance data out of one single source of truth to replace the current subledger SAP IA
• Product Development: Support the Product Owner in developing and communicating the product vision and roadmap
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the agile Scrum team and external partners for successful project implementation
• Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify trends and best practices
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on a global level
• Meeting Support: Assist in planning, conducting, and following up on meetings at team and program level (e.g., planning, review, system demo)

Your profile:

• Education: Completed studies in mathematics, quantitative economics, computer science, or a comparable field
• Actuarial Knowledge: Sound knowledge of actuarial reserving processes and methods
• Experience: Professional experience as a Business Analyst, Insurance Financial Analyst, Actuary or comparable roles
• Data Affinity: Strong affinity with databases and data processing, experience with SQL
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and proven problem decomposition and problem solving skills
• Self-Reliant Communication: Strong communication skills, confident demeanour and ability to act and work independently
• Agile Methods: Experience with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe)
• Language Skills: Very good written and spoken English skills (at least C1 level)
