About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intern to support our sales BDA and outreach efforts. The successful candidate will focus on researching and validating leads, and setting qualified meetings for our Account Executives (AE’s).
- This role also includes a component of Campaign Management and will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of advertising campaigns and sponsorships on The Block’s platform. This role involves collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Design, and AdOps) and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class client experiences while ensuring campaigns align with The Block’s brand standards and strategic goals.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about digital advertising and the crypto industry.This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in lead generation, data validation, and industry research within a fast-growing blockchain industry.
- This role has the potential to be converted into a full time position upon successful completion of the internship.
What You Will Do
- BDA Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed research to identify and compile potential leads within the blockchain and crypto industry.
- Validate lead data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Prioritize and qualify leads based on established criteria.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings for AERs with high-potential prospects.
- Maintain and update lead databases with accurate and current information.
- Assist in creating outreach strategies based on research insights. Collaborate closely with the sales team to improve lead quality and conversion.
- Stay informed about industry trends and key market players.
- Support managing the digital campaigns
- Campaign Management Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Develop and execute advertising campaigns and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with client objectives and The Block’s policies. Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Design, and AdOps teams to manage campaign logistics, creative assets, and client communications. Act as a liaison between The Block and advertisers to ensure seamless delivery.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., impressions, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize strategies to maximize ROI. Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ad Placement Management: Oversee the placement of sponsorship and ad content, ensuring compliance with The Block’s guidelines (e.g., no promotion of specific tokens, gambling, or NFT sales). Utilize programmatic and direct-sold advertising tools to achieve campaign goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data insights to refine targeting strategies, optimize ad placements, and enhance campaign performance. Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
- Client Relationship Management: Participate in client-facing calls, provide updates, and deliver post-campaign wrap reports, including proof of delivery (e.g., screenshots, content clips). Build strong relationships to support long-term partnerships.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on digital advertising trends, programmatic buying, and the crypto industry to inform campaign strategies and maintain The Block’s competitive edge.
- Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all campaign materials adhere to The Block’s brand identity and industry regulations.
What Are We looking for
- Graduating in 2025 or by Q2 2026 or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow our business.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Excel, CRM tools, and online research tools.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency industry a plus.
