• Team Collaboration : You work as part of a team, taking responsibility for various tasks including UI programming, architecture design, technology evaluation, testing, documentation, and deployment

• Feature Development : You implement new features and streamline existing systems, collaborating closely with colleagues of various fields (including sports science, electrical engineering, and site reliability engineering)

• Software Development : You develop high-quality software using C++ and additional technologies like Qt/QML, CMake or conan

• Knowledge Sharing : You love to share your knowledge and responsibilities and support other team members

Your fitness level

• C++ Enthusiasm : You are passionate about modern C++. Knowledge in the following technologies are a plus: Qt, Linux, bash scripting, CMake, Build/CI tooling, Docker

• Analytical Skills : You are able to break down complex problems, abstract key concepts, identify patterns, and understand underlying principles to derive effective solutions and make informed decisions. Having a good background in mathematics or related fields is a plus

• Software design and architecture abilities : You possess a strong ability and enthusiasm for bringing a maintainable structure into application and business logic heavy software. As a plus you are familiar with concepts like domain-driven design, various software architecture/design patterns and are able to understand the underlying concepts and adapt them to your use cases

• Eager Learner : You are always interested in learning and open to trying out new technologies in the future

• Quality Advocate : You care about quality and clarity: in code, in Git commits, in the documentation, and in daily communication. You consider a task only done when appropriate tests have been written

• Balanced Approach : You balance perfectionism and pragmatism, finding the best way forward in an agile environment

• Knowledge Sharer : You constantly learn new skills and share this knowledge with others

Your training goal for your first 6 months

• Ownership : You share ownership of the machine application, you are able to understand its architecture and deliver on product requirements and features as well as improving testability and functionality

• Service Support : You participate in the service duty rotation, coming in close contact with the service team to help out with any issues that are reported in the field during a business day

• EGYM Knowledge : You familiarize yourself with the EGYM ecosystem and the role of the different teams in the software engineering department

• Team Integration : You become a known and well-respected member of the Machine Software domain and the engineering department
