Description

As a CAC/PKI Local Registration Authority (LRA) Information Security Specialist, you will support the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on the DoDIN-A Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) contract. You will be part of the CAC/PKI Registration Authority (LRA) operations team, responsible for token issuance, sustainment, maintenance, and revocation for the Army.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 24/7 on-call and emergency response services
• Responding to emergency calls and arriving at work sites within two hours
• Maintaining an asset inventory of PKI equipment at all RA/LRA sites
• Supporting DoD Compliance Audits
• Addressing audit findings and supporting cybersecurity initiatives
• Developing and maintaining training packages
• Testing PKI system software and token versions for compatibility
• Verifying subscriber identities and pre-registering users
• Validating certificate requirements and managing revocations
• Issuing and renewing tokens for SIPRNET and NIPRNET
• Producing and delivering issuance and activity reports
• Completing requests for PIN resets, token re-issuance, key recoveries, and new token requests within specified timeframes
• Submitting regular activity, token, backlog, and failed token reports

Minimum qualifications:

• Secret Security Clearance with Tier 5 background check
• At least 3 years of experience in PKI and related fields
• Operational expertise in smart tokens, PKI, biometrics, and access controls
• No history of security clearance revocation or trust role relief due to negligence
• Completion of DISA RA/LRA training before credential issuance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields (e.g., BS degree, GSEC, GCLD, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+)

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, standing, and moving within an office environment
• Occasional travel (up to 10%) by land or air
