About Us
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.
We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems—not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.
Your mission
Lead the end-to-end management of camera and sensor integration for our vehicles—from discovery and evaluation through to seamless hardware and software integration. You'll define how we work with visual and sensory inputs across all platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Research, evaluate, and select optimal camera hardware and sensors for vehicle platforms
  • Own the full lifecycle of camera integration from initial testing to deployment from initial testing to deployment to calibration and others
  • Set up and configure camera and sensor systems across new hardware models
  • Conduct in-depth performance testing and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with AI, software, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Maintain technical documentation and testing protocols for hardware systems
  • Drive camera performance analysis beyond standard datasheet metrics
  • Contribute to the long-term sensor strategy as the company scales
Qualifications
  • Strong technical understanding of camera systems (monochrome, colour, spectrums of light)
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing considerations and trade-offs in camera selection
  • Proven ability to evaluate camera performance beyond spec sheets
  • Deep experience in integrating cameras into hardware systems
  • Familiarity with sensor tuning for real-world environments
  • Thermal imaging, radar, or laser experience is a plus
  • Background in drones, automotive, or similar hardware-heavy industries is advantageous
  • Analytical thinker with a collaborative and hands-on approach to problem-solving
