Category Manager Logistics

One of our key clients, A global automotive tier 1 are looking for a Category Manager Logistics to join their rapidly growing batteries BU.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the sourcing strategy of the category Logistics.
• Ensure a competitive supplier portfolio
• Create cost saving strategies
• Guarantee Material and services are planned and available for key stakeholders
• Take care of the Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO) of the category you lead and manage RFI/RFQ process for your area(s).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, purchasing, or a related field
• Several years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
