What you will be doing

As the Channel Solutions Engineer you will design and propose solutions, conduct product demos, and provide technical support to drive revenue growth through our partners in the DACH region. You will align technical activities with channel sales strategies and partner ecosystems to enable partner success. Responsibilities include:

Understanding the sales cycle and aligning technical solutions with business needs to drive sales
Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Building and maintaining relationships with channel partners and resolving conflicts for mutual success
Contributing to wider technical initiatives outside of the day-to-day SE role
Transferring knowledge, mentoring peers, and contributing to knowledge bases

Experience and qualifications

We welcome applicants with extensive experience in a technical sales engineering role, preferably within a channel or partner ecosystem, with exposure to cybersecurity, cloud computing, or networking. You should have experience working with and supporting channel partners, value-added resellers or distributors, and be able to design and propose solutions that meet partner and customer needs. You will likely have:

Strong competitor knowledge and skills in de-positioning
Experience conducting product demos and technical presentations
Strong problem-solving abilities to assist partners with technical issues during the sales process
Understanding of MEDDPPIC sales methodology is desirable

It is likely you will be tested on your understanding of Darktrace products, solutions and technology stack, and how they integrate with other systems.
