Chief Financial Officer (CFO) | Full-Time | Remote (EMEA Region)

On behalf of a leading software holding company headquartered in the Gulf region, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial function and play a pivotal role in driving long-term growth. This is a full-time remote role, open to senior finance leaders across the EMEA region.




About the Role

As CFO, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including strategic planning, risk management, regulatory compliance, and reporting. You will provide financial leadership to guide decision-making at the executive level, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. This position requires a visionary finance leader with a strong background in the technology or software sector and a proven ability to scale businesses in dynamic markets.




Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, covering accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and compliance.
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and EMEA regulatory frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to safeguard company assets.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate new business opportunities, M&A activities, and investment strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, regulators, and external auditors.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.



Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred).
• Minimum of 10–15 years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in the software, technology, or holding company environment.
• Strong expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and financial planning.
• Proven track record in managing international operations and scaling businesses across EMEA.
• Experience in M&A transactions, fundraising, and investor relations.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
