Your Role

I am partnering with them to find an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead their Cybersecurity team at the Bocholt location.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Cybersecurity team and oversee Regional Cybersecurity Officers.
Implement and manage a cybersecurity framework based on ISO/IEC 27001 and contribute to the further development of organizational structures, policies, processes, and services.
Establish a Security Operations Center (SOC) and take responsibility for the management and operation of associated services and vendors, including Vulnerability Management, SIEM, CERT, Endpoint Protection, and Network Security.
Monitor the performance of the cybersecurity management system and report results to senior management.
Ensure the organization meets all regulatory and compliance requirements for critical infrastructure security.

What You Bring

A university degree in (Business) Informatics, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, ITIL, and COBIT.
Expertise in cybersecurity capabilities, including Vulnerability Management, SIEM, CERT, Endpoint Protection, and associated technologies.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM or CISSP) and experience leading teams are highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in an international environment, with an analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach.
Fluent in English and business-level German.
