Overview
We are developing a Chrome Extension with an accompanying web application that allows users to save, organize, and compare property listings (e.g., from ImmoScout24) during their real estate search. The extension should provide a seamless way for users to capture listing links and add personal notes or tags, which will then be accessible and manageable via the web app.


Current Status

• Initial prototype of the Chrome Extension is in place.
• Basic saving of listing URLs and user notes is already possible.
• Backend infrastructure (web app) is available for storing user data.


Next Development Goals

• Improve the UI/UX of the extension popup (modern, user-friendly interface).
• Add a dialog for saving listings with optional fields (price, size, property type, notes).
• Implement tagging and categorization features for better organization.
• Enable synchronization between the Chrome Extension and the web app (API integration).
• Create a comparison view in the web app where users can see and evaluate their saved listings.
• Implement authentication (OAuth / user login) to ensure secure access to personal data.
• Ensure the extension is fully compliant with Chrome Web Store guidelines and third-party website terms of use (no scraping, user-driven actions only).


Technical Requirements

• Chrome Extension development (Manifest V3).
• Experience with React or similar frameworks for building the popup UI.
• REST API integration for syncing data with the backend.
• Secure authentication flow (JWT/OAuth).
• Familiarity with deploying extensions to the Chrome Web Store.
