Civil Engineer - Onshore - Germany -

Your overall remit will be to lead the structural planning of the onshore wind energy projects across various locations in Germany. You will work as part of a collaborative project team working across the full cycle of the projects to ensure successful outcomes and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural planning for wind farms from development through construction, including investigations, approvals, tenders, and implementation.
• Evaluate and select suitable project sites, conducting early-phase site visits.
• Assess foundation types, access routes, transport logistics, and Balance of Plant (BoP) infrastructure.
• Conduct technical due diligence and risk assessments.
• Prepare and review cost estimates in line with project budgets.
• Manage external specialists for transport, geotechnical, and foundation studies.
• Oversee and negotiate technical aspects of turbine supply and BoP contracts.
• Evaluate bids and act as a liaison between contracting parties.
• Ensure economic efficiency and structural integrity throughout design and construction.
• Perform quality inspections during and post-construction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3-5 years of civil engineering with specific experience related to Wind Farm design and construction
• Excellent experience and knowledge in foundations, road and drainage planning, logistics, geotechnics, hydrology etc.
• Good knowledge of technical tender and contract documentation
• Experience of negotiating and understanding Balance of Plant contracts
• Sound experience with AutoCAD
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication
• Fluent in German and English, native or advanced written and verbal communication skills
