Responsibilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end processing of vehicle damages, including claims submission with insurers and liability carriers
- Digitally document and track vehicle damages in the system for traceability
- Review, approve, or reject repair damages considering economic and technical aspects
- Perform plausibility checks of cost estimates and expert reports in coordination with external service providers (workshops, appraisers, loss adjusters)
- Conduct internal controls and regularly review and adjust insurance contributions
- Assess risks for special premiums and premium changes with an emphasis on cost efficiency and fairness
- Actively contribute to continuous optimization and development of existing damage management processes
- Lead complex claim cases from notification to final settlement
- Act as a professional sparring partner for colleagues and customers internally and externally
- Monitor market trends and legal developments in the claims area and incorporate them into daily work and processes
Qualifications
- Completed insurance-related commercial training; ideally with at least two years of experience in claims management
- Solid knowledge of motor vehicle insurance, preferably with a focus on fleet insurance and their specifics
- Experience in fleet leasing, fleet management, or claims management is a plus
- Entrepreneurial, customer-oriented mindset; strong communication and service orientation
- Comfort with MS Office and digital tools/systems
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and ability to identify connections in complex claims
- High process affinity and drive to make processes more efficient and customer-friendly
- Structured, independent, and reliable work, even under high workload
- Professional presence and strong teamwork; willingness to engage in knowledge sharing
