Stellenbeschreibung:

Reporting to the Client Finance Director, the Client Finance Analyst’s role is to work with Client Leads and Producers to manage client revenue, production budgets, estimates and cash flow. The Client Finance Analyst must build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Client Leadership team and work as a liaison to assist them with client financial requirements and to uphold financial reporting under IFRS. Compliance with internal controls and revenue recognition policies is also required. A key responsibility will be the knowledge of all client contracts and the interpretation of their financial terms as they relate to client health and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and document regular meetings with Account Service and Project Managers to review all active client projects.
• Reconcile client budgets and analyze staff utilization reports
• Assist the Client Finance director with setting up pricing templates and rate cards
• Ensure all projects are set up according to client requirements
• Ensure compliance with all internal control processes and that all project related documentation is appropriately archived for audit in a timely manner.
• Timely revenue recognition under IFRS and GAAP guidelines
• Work with Project Managers to reconcile the job upon completion and notify Client leads regarding the job status (i.e. reconciled within 60 days from date of completion)
• Client Profitability Analysis reports
• Serve as Billing Back up as needed
• Ad hoc client financial reporting and analysis
• Preparation of data for board decks and leadership meetings

Requirements

• Bachelors or degree in Accounting, Economics, Business or related field required
• At least two years of related experience in a similar position required; preferably at an ad or marketing company
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of general financial accounting
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
• Strong analytic abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel
