    Why we need this role?

    We are seeking a high-performing Client Partner to join our EMEA Strategic Development team, reporting to the Director of Strategic Development. Focused on the German and DACH region, you will expand Colt’s presence within existing enterprise customers and engage new prospects. You’ll identify and qualify strategic opportunities, engaging senior IT decision-makers such as CIOs, CISOs, and Directors, to increase Colt’s IT spend share.

    As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with local Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Client Partners to develop strategic engagement plans, workshops, and executive meetings, positioning Colt as the provider of choice. You’ll represent the value of Colt’s Strategic Development team, ensuring each opportunity is well-resourced.     What you will do:

    • Client Relationship Leadership: Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, acting as their trusted advisor. Engage proactively and lead thought leadership initiatives before RFP releases.
    • Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement account strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives, leveraging Colt’s Network & Security solutions.
    • Closing New Business: Create opportunities and lead them to closure, supporting the sales team throughout the process.
    • Solution Innovation: Collaborate internally to design and deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
    • Industry Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide strategic insights.
    • Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations to secure favorable terms for Colt and clients.
    • Business & Commercial Leadership: Optimize internal costs to remain competitive while ensuring profitable returns.
    • Customer Advocacy: Champion client needs within Colt, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience: Minimum 8 years in a senior client-facing role within the technology sector, managing large, complex accounts.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field. An MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.

    Skills:

    • Proven ability to write executive summaries and proposals using methodologies like Shipley
    • Empathy for customer needs and strong communication skills
    • Experience running discovery and innovation workshops
    • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Knowledge of networking and security solutions
    • Leadership and team collaboration skills
    • Experience selling WAN solutions into sectors like Pharma, Manufacturing, Automotive
