Clinical Data Specialist (m/f/d) – Maternity Leave Cover (1.5 years) – Hechingen

We are hiring to support our Clinical Data Management activities. You will contribute to saving lives together with us by ensuring high-quality clinical data handling and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Your Strength

• 0–3 years of experience in clinical data management or a related field
• Degree in life sciences, healthcare, IT, or equivalent training
• Programming experience with R and/or Python
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and team guidance precisely
• Comfortable working with clinical databases and electronic systems
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with EDC and CDMS tools beneficial
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus

Your Contribution

• Support Clinical Data Managers on low to moderately complex project tasks
• Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g. CROs, investigators)
• Assist in the development and modification of clinical databases and eCRFs
• Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and draft edit checks and specifications
• Perform user administration in clinical data systems
• Review clinical data for consistency and perform query management
• Generate study-specific reports and perform vendor data reconciliation
• Support documentation filing and perform quality checks on documents
• Maintain financial tracking and confirm services for invoicing
• Contribute to compliance and audit readiness
