Cloud Security Engineer (Advisory Specialist) with German & English (m/f/d)

Join us as a Cloud Security Engineer (Advisory Specialist), helping our global clients strengthen their cloud security strategies. We seek candidates fluent in German (C1–C2) and English (C1) who can lead workshops, assess cloud security postures, and align solutions with industry standards.

Position Overview

An advisory role focusing on workshops and security design across various cloud platforms. You will guide clients through best practices and develop tailored security roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to assess and improve customers’ cloud security practices.
• Provide expertise on Cloud Security Posture Assessment concepts and industry standards (CIS, OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Develop, present, and tailor security recommendations and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with clients to define security best practices and compliance goals.
• Keep current on the latest trends, technologies, and threats in cloud security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud security.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud security controls and posture assessment.
• Strong bilingual communication skills in German (C1–C2) and English (C1).
• Experience applying frameworks such as CIS, OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001 to real workloads.
• Excellent presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts to non‑experts.
• Self‑motivated, analytical, and able to work independently.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Other cloud security certifications: CISSP, CISM, or similar (willingness to obtain upon hire).

Location & Work Arrangement

• Germany – Düsseldorf (Work‑at‑Home)
• Full‑time position
