The Opportunity

As a BESS Commissioning & Technical Support Engineer , you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery and performance of BESS projects. You’ll take ownership of commissioning activities, provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, and act as a trusted partner to clients and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded engineer who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working across diverse renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform commissioning activities for BESS projects, ensuring all systems meet performance and safety requirements.
• Provide technical support to clients and project stakeholders during and after project delivery.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure operational reliability.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning plans, test documentation, and technical reports.
• Deliver training to clients and end-users on operation and maintenance best practices.
• Contribute to process improvements by capturing lessons learned and supporting knowledge sharing.

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in commissioning and technical support within the energy storage, renewables, or power systems industry.
• Strong understanding of BESS components, control systems, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Confident working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Turkey and to other project sites within Europe.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Turkish is a plus.
