Civil Engineer (construction supervision and project management)

We implement large-scale battery storage projects that contribute to stabilizing the power grid and making companies less dependent on fossil fuels. As a construction manager, you will assume responsibility for all construction‑specific aspects of our storage projects – with a focus on construction coordination and quality assurance.

You will work closely with our project management and external planning offices and ensure that our projects are implemented efficiently, safely, and on time, from planning to construction acceptance.

What you will do:

• Client representation on our grid‑scale battery storage construction sites (5–100 MW)
• Independent construction management and monitoring of all construction phases up to commissioning
• Coordination of all construction trades with a focus on civil engineering
• Conducting audits of construction trades as well as invoice verification and approval according to VOB/BGB
• Acceptances including logging and monitoring of safety and environmental standards
• Participation in building applications, building permits and approval procedures
• Technical support for tenders for construction services including the evaluation of implementation plans and specifications
• Coordination with planning offices, specialist planners and authorities

Your profile:

• Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering or comparable
• Several years of experience in construction management or project management, ideally in the energy or infrastructure sector
• Confident handling of construction and contract law (VOB/A, VOB/B, BGB) as well as German planning law
• Experience with approval procedures according to BauGB, BImSchG and EnWG
• Knowledge of scheduling and construction project management
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering or energy storage technologies is an advantage
• Confident demeanor and confidence in dealing with and negotiating with authorities, regulators and external service providers
• Fluent German and very good English skills
