As part of this ongoing commitment and continued growth, they are looking to add skilled and ambitious Project Engineers to their Wind Farm business division based in Germany. You overall remit will be to lead the structural planning of the onshore wind energy projects across various locations in Germany. Reporting through to the Head of Construction Design, you will work as part of a collaborative project team working across the full cycle of the projects to ensure successful outcomes and delivery.




Responsibilities will include:
• Implementing all aspects of the structural planning of wind farms in the development and construction phases.
• Evaluation of suitable sites for the projects and conducting site visits in the early phases.
• Identifying and assessing optimal foundation types, access roads and Balance of Plant Infrastructures.
• Performing and implementing due diligence on technical matters and undertaking risk assessments.
• Preparation, review and approval of cost calculations for construction works in line with project budgets.
• Coordinating with external specialists regarding matters such as transport studies, geotechnical investigations, foundation designs and external planning reviews
• Overseeing the technical content of tender and contract documents including Balance of Plant Infrastructures and Wind Turbine packages
• Conducting quality inspections during and after the construction phase.



Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3-5 years of construction engineering experience including foundations, road, drainage , infrastructure etc.
• Experience of working on wind farm construction projects would be highly regarded.
• Knowledge of working on tenders and contract documentation
• Experience of negotiating and understanding Balance of Plant contracts
• Sound experience with AutoCAD
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication
• Fluent in German and English, native or advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Full working rights in Germany
