Position: Consultant for JIRA Application Management
Our business partner is looking for a consultant in the field of Application Management for JIRA, starting immediately.


Focus:
The focus is on the conceptual development and optimization of the use of JIRA and its features.

• Start: 15.09.2025
• Full remote
• Part-time: 25 hours, which may increase over the course of the project

Project Description
• Analysis of existing setups, processes and workflows
• Development of concepts for improved use of JIRA functionalities
• Advice on best practices and new features
• Implementation of adjustments in close coordination with the specialist departments
• License and cost management including evaluation of usage scenarios and optimization of licensing
• Consideration of security requirements as well as advice on secure and compliance-conform use
• Conception and implementation of the connection of third-party systems to integrate JIRA into the existing tool landscape
• Ensuring sustainable, scalable and user-friendly tool usage
• Consulting of internal customers (users)
• Project Setup according to existing governance
• Support

MUST HAVES
• Very good knowledge of Jira Cloud Enterprise:
• General administration of the system
• Jira Software
• Jira Service Management
• Workflow Management
• REST API with Python
• Scripting in general
• SSO with MS Entra
