Project Description

I am looking for a skilled freelancer to develop a conversational chatbot that helps users create structured documentation (mainly process descriptions and work instructions) in compliance with ISO standards (9001, 13485, 14001, 45001, 42001).

The chatbot should guide users step by step, validate completeness and consistency, and finally generate documents in Markdown and optionally in Word (using a provided template).


Key Responsibilities
• Develop a chatbot that works with both text and voice input (user can choose mode).


• Implement a dialogue engine that asks one question at a time and re-asks unclear answers.


• Build validation logic covering:
• Scope, purpose, exclusions
• Inputs/outputs (entry/exit criteria)
• Process steps (logical completeness)
• Roles per step (with deputy rules)
• Tools, resources, and test equipment
• Risks, opportunities, KPIs (with suggestions if missing)
• Records and forms
• Safety (if relevant)
• Training/competence (including frequency)
• Standard-specific requirements (ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, 45001, 42001)


• Integrate a RAG/knowledge system so uploaded context (PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, images with OCR, ≤20 MB) is considered in dialogue and document generation.


• Generate validated Markdown documents and optional Word output via template.


• Implement simple versioning of documents.


• Ensure multi-tenancy (separate data per client).


• Provide a basic, simple UX design.


Requirements
• Proven experience building chatbots (LLM or custom).


• Strong backend development skills (e.g., Python, Node.js, or similar).


• Experience with RAG systems (vector databases, embeddings).


• Knowledge of Markdown and DOCX generation (e.g., Pandoc, python-docx, or similar).


• Ability to configure validation rules via external files (JSON/YAML).


• Familiarity with ISO documentation (nice to have, but not mandatory).


Deliverables
• Fully working chatbot application (voice + text).


• External configuration for prompts and validation criteria.


• Document generation pipeline (Markdown + Word via template).


• Multi-tenancy and simple versioning.


• Developer and user documentation.
