About Us
We are a small family-owned business that recently started selling African food and specialties online. Just a few days ago, we launched our new online shop with updated design and new features, and now we want to make sure that our customers have the best possible shopping experience – from browsing products to completing checkout.


Your Task
We are looking for someone who can analyze our Hotjar recordings and identify clear optimization opportunities for our website. This role is not about creating long reports or theoretical strategies, but about providing practical, actionable recommendations that help us improve our conversion rate.


What you will do:

• Review and analyze our Hotjar recordings (session replays & possibly heatmaps)
• Identify pain points, drop-offs, or confusing user experiences
• Translate your findings into concrete optimization suggestions (e.g. changes in checkout, product pages, navigation)
• Work closely with our small team so your suggestions can be implemented quickly


What we expect:

• Hands-on experience with Hotjar or similar tools (session replays, heatmaps, etc.)
• Practical knowledge in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Ability to clearly spot issues and turn them into specific, actionable insights
• Clear and structured communication


Nice-to-have:

• E-commerce experience, ideally in food or FMCG
• Familiarity with Shopify stores
