About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic copywriter and conversion specialist to adapt and optimize online sales funnels for German-speaking markets.

Your mission is to ensure that our English-language sales funnels including landing pages, video sales letters (VSLs), and related marketing assets are professionally adapted to resonate with local audiences while maintaining top-tier performance and conversion standards.

You’ll own the full localization process for your market, from assessing the original U.S. funnel to collaborating with translators, voiceover talent, and video editors to deliver a high-performing, culturally relevant localized version.



Key Responsibilities

Funnel Adaptation & Localization Strategy
• Analyze the original English funnel and VSL to identify cultural, linguistic, and UX mismatches.
• Recommend adaptations to copy, calls-to-action, visuals, pricing formats (e.g., tax-included logic), and user flow for your target market.
• Provide feedback and structured suggestions for funnel layout, messaging tone, CTA placement, and overall conversion clarity.



Copy & Translation Oversight
• Oversee translation (primarily AI-based) and post-editing to ensure tone, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Adapt marketing copy, bullets, VSL scripts, and microcopy (e.g., button text, opt-in prompts) as needed for optimal local performance.
• Apply proven persuasion frameworks (AIDA, PAS, StoryBrand, etc.) to localized content.



VSL & Video Localization
• Collaborate with voiceover talent to ensure pronunciation, tone, and pacing match the target audience.
• Work with video editors to:
  • Sync new VO with visuals.
  • Translate on-screen text.
  • Suggest updated visuals or stock footage to enhance engagement.
• Review the final VSL to ensure it meets conversion and creative standards.



Funnel Build QA & Launch Support
• Work alongside the Localization Project Manager and funnel owner to:
  • Review translated funnel pages for accuracy and alignment.
  • Identify and fix issues before launch.
  • Ensure the new funnel is fully localized and conversion-optimized.



Post-Launch Optimization
• Monitor funnel and VSL performance (e.g., video drop-off rates, click-throughs).
• Recommend and implement copy or visual tweaks based on early analytics.
• Support ongoing A/B testing and iteration cycles (especially in the first 6 months).

Ideal Candidate Profile


• Native fluency in German, plus excellent English proficiency.
• Deep understanding of your target market’s cultural, linguistic, and buyer behavior nuances.
• 3+ years of experience in conversion copywriting, performance marketing, or funnel writing.
• Skilled in adapting U.S. sales copy to European audiences.
• Strategic thinker with a strong narrative sensibility and brand voice adaptability.
• Able to manage 5–6 projects per month in varying stages of completion.
• Familiar with persuasion copywriting frameworks (AIDA, PAS, etc.).
