Cost Control Engineer

We are hiring a Project Control Engineer for our project in the Stuttgart region, Germany. This role involves managing project planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance reporting throughout all phases of execution. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)Define and manage project baselines, including schedules, critical path, and progress tracking toolsImplement and update planning, progress measurement, and reporting systemsProduce daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering progress, productivity, and cost performanceConduct time impact analysis, support claim management, and assess extension of time requestsMonitor project costs including actuals, accruals, commitments, and earned value metricsPrepare and update cash flow forecasts, cost reports, production estimates, and client invoicingCoordinate closely with Quantity Surveyors, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction functionsParticipate in risk analysis and change control processes Requirements Fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory, due to project/client communication needs); German language skills are appreciated but not requiredValid work authorization for Germany is required for this positionAvailability for a prompt start is preferredEngineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)Minimum 3 years of experience in project control in industrial or infrastructure projectsProficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and ERP systemsStrong foundation in planning, cost control, earned value analysis, and risk assessmentAccuracy, problem-solving ability, and organizational discipline under time pressureProject Management certifications (PMP®, IPMA) are a plus What we offerInternational projects with exciting challenges and development opportunitiesAttractive compensation with punctual salary payment and bonuses if certain criteria are metOpportunities for international mobility, especially for technical specialistsA dynamic, results-oriented work environment with a focus on performance This position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 and subsequent amendments, and Legislative Decrees No. 215 and No. 216 of 2003 on equal treatment.
