We want you for...

To support our project management services team in Karlsruhe, we are looking for you in full time (40h) and unlimited, as Cost Controller (m/f/d) .

Your mission

• Compile various project cost reports: actuals, VoWD, forecasts, accruals (including actual vs budget analysis, EAC, trends analyses).
• Forecast expenditures, plan budgets, classify costs by type, track man-hours, verify supplier invoices, and manage change events impacting the budget.
• Verify cost allocation against work orders, correct coding of requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, estimates, changes, and variations.
• Monitor and analyze variances to control project cost outcomes, and recommend interventions.
• Ensure project cost control is performed in compliance with procurement and cost processes, applying best practices and maintaining high-quality information for audits.
• Work closely with accounts payable to ensure correct coding of invoices for easy expense tracking.

Your profile

• Degree (Diplom/Master/Bachelor) in Finance, Business Administration, or Construction.
• Experience in the chemical, oil & gas, or related industry.
• At least 5 years of related experience in construction projects.
• Knowledge of SAP PS, CO, FI, MM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Power BI.
• Fluent in English negotiation skills.
