Credit Consultant

Your Challenge

• Support front office staff in credit matters, providing guidance on product and policy considerations along with credit structuring advice.
• Provide written analysis of credit applications and recommendations to the approval authority, in accordance with the credit governance framework, and coordinate the entire credit approval process.
• Manage the implementation of approved credit facilities, prepare loan and collateral documentation, and coordinate the proper execution of credit-related decisions and conditions.
• Perform credit monitoring and control activities, including daily monitoring and follow-up of credit violations, as well as credit reporting to local management and stakeholders.
• Assist and support other departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, Compliance) on credit-related issues, and contribute to credit-related projects, process improvements, system testing, product and policy development, as required.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant area, with strong organizational and analytical skills, especially in credit risk analysis.
• Confirmed credit product knowledge, particularly in mortgage financing, with extensive experience in Spanish mortgage lending.
• Fluent in English; German and other languages are advantageous.
• Client-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent professional service, and strong interpersonal communication skills to interact successfully with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Avaloq banking software is a plus.
