Role

The Credit Controller DACH (d/f/m) is responsible for managing the customer credit and collection process across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) to optimize accounts receivable and contribute to the achievement of the company’s working capital objectives.

This position reports to the EMEA Credit Controller Team Leader and is part of the Finance EMEA team mainly located in Wetzlar, Germany and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage credit limits for new and existing customers based on analysis of financial reports and collection history
• Communicate with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
• Validate customer new orders by controlling payment terms and status of overdue accounts
• Collaborate with the accounting and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and ensure proper payment allocation
• Contribute to credit control process improvements for the whole EMEA area as well as Finance -IT projects in relation with regulatory requirements (e.g. E-invoicing)

Essential requirements

• Several years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role in an international environment
• Fluent in German and proficiency in business English
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy
