Overview

Join our CERT team as Cyber Crisis Manager to lead incident response efforts, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and guide clients through the lifecycle of cybersecurity incidents while strengthening defenses for the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of incident response plans and manage resources during security incidents.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of investigators, recovery specialists, and behavioral experts for seamless collaboration.
• Lead investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches with minimal operational disruption.
• Act as a liaison between clients, senior management, and external parties, providing timely incident updates and resolution progress.
• Analyze post-incident reports to identify lessons learned and implement improvements in response protocols.
• Develop and refine incident response strategies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge-sharing to enhance collective expertise.
• Represent Northwave at conferences, industry events, or webinars to promote capabilities in incident response and cybersecurity solutions.

Team and Environment

Join our dynamic Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) with Forensic Investigators, Recovery Specialists, and Negotiators. Collaborate on-site with cross-functional teams to resolve client-specific challenges, serving clients across Europe.

Job Requirements

• Education: Relevant management degree; a degree in computer science can be helpful.
• Knowledge and experience: Proven experience in incident response and/or crisis management; extensive experience managing large projects and teams; ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Other strengths: Excellent communication to engage technical and executive stakeholders; strategic thinking to anticipate threats and improve resilience; willingness to speak at conferences or industry events; proactive mindset with interest in business development and networking within cybersecurity.
