Overview

Director of Talent Operations @ MVP Match

Our client is a German company at the forefront of large-scale battery storage and grid flexibility solutions. Their digital team drives innovation across the business, building secure and scalable platforms that enable data-driven decision-making and the integration of renewable energy into the grid. To strengthen this team, we are looking for a Data Platform Solution Architect to design and implement a central data platform that will serve as the foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build a robust, scalable data platform enabling business units to access, analyze, and act on critical data.
Develop data models and structures that unify diverse data sources, ensuring quality, performance, and reusability.
Define and implement security, backup, and recovery concepts to ensure stability and compliance.
Lead data migrations, integrations, and orchestration across heterogeneous systems.
Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into dashboards, access concepts, and usable structures.
Document solutions, support training, and foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
Act as both architect and hands-on engineer, combining design with implementation.

Profile

Degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar field.
3+ years’ experience building data platforms and data models with measurable business impact.
Strong background in data modeling and working with time series/tabular data.
Experience in agile environments with iterative development (e.g. SCRUM).
Strong communication skills in German and English; able to translate technical topics for diverse stakeholders.
Service-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-driven with attention to documentation and long-term usability.
On-site availability in the Munich office 2 days/week.
