The Data Center Operations (DCO) team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware in AWS data centers across cloud regions. You will be a primary resolver for your support team, gaining troubleshooting skills across hardware and software, and helping to ensure 24/7 availability.

Responsibilities (English)

This Position Involves

• Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
• Troubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
• Working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment
• On-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Experience in networking
• This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure

WICHTIGE ZUSTÄNDIGKEITEN

• RECHENZENTRUMSBETRIEB (DCO) – Diagnose und anschließende physische Reparatur bei Hardware- und Netzwerkproblemen
• Fehleranalyse für Ereignisse im Rahmen von internen Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Durchführen von Ursachenanalysen bei Ausfällen von Geräten
• Schichtarbeit (morgens, spät und nachts) wie auch an Wochenenden, um den Betrieb des Rechenzentrums rund um die Uhr zu gewährleisten
• Handhabung schwerer Geräte (Gewichtsgrenzen in Übereinstimmung mit den geltenden Vorschriften)
• Bereitschaftsdienst im Wechsel für Notrufe außerhalb der Dienstzeiten

Dieses Position Umfasst

• Diagnose und anschließende physische Reparatur bei Hardware- und Netzwerkproblemen
