Databricks Expert (Senior) Consultant

Overview

As a Databricks Expert, you will help clients design and implement modern data architectures, working on strategic transformation programs and hands-on delivery. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project groups to unlock the full potential of Databricks and drive business success.

Your area of responsibility

• Strategic Advisory & Architecture – Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms
• Implementation & Development – Build data pipelines, models, and integrations leveraging Databricks and associated technologies
• Project Execution – Support data transformation and migration initiatives in the insurance and financial services sectors
• Best Practices & Knowledge Sharing – Establish Databricks best practices, contribute to pre-sales efforts, proposals, and internal training

Your Profile

• Proven hands-on expertise in Databricks, gained through client projects or internal data initiatives
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Delta Lake, Data Mesh, MDM), data modelling, and cloud-based platforms
• Experience with ETL / ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Azure Data Factory), Python and pySpark
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) – practical project experience is a plus
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions – and vice versa
• Fluency in German and English
• Proactive mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to shape and grow our Data & AI offerings
