Custom Design Engineer
Design the Future of Memory. Push Semiconductor Boundaries. Shape Next-Gen Electronics.
Are you a full custom design engineer who thrives at the intersection of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits? Do you want to see your designs move from transistor‑level schematics to silicon that powers the world’s most advanced technologies?
We’re recruiting Custom Design Engineers for a leading semiconductor innovator with a global footprint. From smartphones and data centers to automotive and AI, their technologies enable the next wave of progress — and this is your chance to join a specialist design hub at the heart of breakthrough development.
 What You’ll Be Doing
  - Design and verify embedded non-volatile memory (NVM) circuits — including MRAM, RRAM, and beyond.
  - Create and review full custom layouts, delivering robust, high-performance designs .
  - Collaborate on test chip implementation , from design through to silicon validation.
  - Analyse and debug real silicon data , contributing to qualification and reliability testing.
  - Develop and refine design kits and methodologies alongside global R&D teams.
  - Provide technical support to internal teams and customers , ensuring smooth integration into complex SoCs.

 What You Bring
  - Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field .
  - 5+ years’ experience in custom circuit design for memory, logic, or mixed-signal ICs.
  - Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and industry‑standard design flows.
  - Experience with non-volatile memories (Flash, MRAM, RRAM, PCRAM) — or strong analog/mixed‑signal background with a willingness to learn.
  - Strong problem‑solving mindset, collaborative approach, and clear technical communication skills.

 Why This Role?
  - Join a small, high-impact design team with global reach and direct access to cutting‑edge process technology.
  - Work at the forefront of memory innovation , contributing to the shift beyond traditional Flash.
  - See your work move into real silicon , with opportunities to engage in lab validation and customer support.
  - Be part of a company with unmatched scale and influence in the semiconductor industry.
  - Competitive package, relocation support if required, and the chance to grow into a recognised expert in next‑gen memory design.

This is a rare opportunity to combine hands‑on design, global collaboration, and real‑world silicon impact in one of the most advanced environments in the industry.
If you’re excited by solving deep technical challenges and shaping the future of embedded memory — we’d love to hear from you.
